What game mode does Destiny need?

I'm thinking survival/wave mode with bosses at certain levels. Or maybe a defence/attack mode where one attacks the tower and the other defends vice versa. Ideas? Edit: the most mentioned ideas will be out into a poll later and hopefully bungie will see it Edit 2: Great ideas guys! Keep em coming! I'll have the poll up with all the suggestions by Monday morning! Edit 3: So I tried to make a poll but it keeps erroring out. Too many poll options I guess. So guys just keep the discussion going and keep this trending. Bungie had got to take notice if we keep making our voices heard!!!

  • Anything in PVP. They are all just TDM with a twist. And the maps all feel the same. Actually really looking forward to MCC to get my MP fix at this point.

  • Some kind of oddball or such mode involving the relic shield or sword, or some form of so they aren't so powerful.

      • PRACTICE MODE PVP: where you pick the team and the map and have fun with your friends. This is the biggest draw back in PvP right now a bunch of friends can not get together and duke it out for fun and sport. Several times me and a bunch of people go back to the last of us for this very reason, and rumble doesn't count it is 3 people max vs 3 randoms...

      • Yes defence mode like in warframe, just add the warsat to its own map and let the waves of enemy's come, one for each type.

        • I've been wanting a survival mode or elimination survival where u start with a6-12 member fireteam and you get wave after wave until the last member dies

            Not a wave mode. I have a better idea, similar to that though. I've been waiting for the right time to share it though. Intro- "The battle at the city walls is at a constant. Guardians forged in light from all around gather to fight this very battle. Together, the champions of the Awoken, and the Exos come to fight beside the last remnants of civilization on earth to save humanity. The hive have pushed closer than ever before to take the city, you are our only hope." - The Speaker Game concept: The game would be called Spartan Mode, because it takes line similar to the legend of 300. 300 spartans to take on a massive army from persia, in the end fighting to the death and dealing a huge blow to the Persian King and winning the war as a result. When you are by the Vanguard in the tower, you'll notice looking out of the window two huge mountains and a forest below. I would like to call this game mode Spartan Mode because you are fighting this battle between the mountains, a choke that acts as a corridor to the city from the outside world. The battle takes place at the wall between the mountains. constant raging battle on the world map, a new location on the earth map called the wall. You drop in, the scene before you is chaos, a battle between a horde of hive constantly pushing to fight the guardians. Similar to coming into the world on earth, or any other planet now, you will see guardians in your hud everywhere fighting. Guardians of all levels are here, but you will only push the lines if you have higher level guardians, and skilled ones at that, the further your team pushes, the harder the enemies that spawn, but you are rewarded more per kill. Gameplay: So throughout the battlefield there are checkpoints for your team to capture. The first is right at the wall. Up 100 meters into the corridor, there is another (for your ghost to hack) and every 100 meters or so there are perhaps 5-6 more checkpoints. The more of these you hold, the harder the enemies will spawn. So you have the first two checkpoints, you'll be getting a fairly easy battle. you push the line with your fellow guardians, capture the 3rd one ahead, it'll get harder. You want to push as far as you can, but then the enemies will get very hard, and you will have to retreat or you will be killed (and spawn back at the wall) thus giving the hive some gains in the battle. Its a constant raging battle, if you fail, you lose rewards. If you hold checkpoints for long enough you gain rewards. I have the map drawn out already, and everything that would go into this game mode.

                    King of the hill, but inside a temple which has a sword in the hill area, sword kills count as 200 points, regular kills 50, and killing the king earns 500 or 1000. Of course they should make several different temple layouts, to favour different play styles

                    • Any game mode that is bigger than 6v6. Even halo did 8v8. I would preffer something like 12v12, like battlefield conquest.

                    • A single player version of the raid. Not the same raid obviously but a lengthy, puzzle filled, challenging experience you do solo. To give people incentive to do this, throw in the raid rewards or, my preference, the same quality but different variants. I'm sure people will hate this but screw em.
