I love hunters and agree they are useful but not for relic holding. In my opinion they are to "weak" to hold the relic. I feel a lot more comfortable when im holding the relic as a lock or a titan.
But i do love hunters for the raid.

I'm a hunter and the best relic holder of all 40 of my destiny playing friends and raid groups I've been in. I've done the most damage with the relic because I rarely miss.
