lol, this post should be renamed "I haven't accomplished anything in life so this is all I have to be proud of". Who cares how you attain anything in this game, it's a game!!! If you wanna buy your exotics, great!! If you wanna cheese some bosses, good on you! If you didn't have the item before, and now you do, you had to put in some effort to get it. That is what I call earning it.

Really though I just did a mission and it RANDOMLY gave it to me when i wasn't expecting it or was expecting something random because drops are freaking random. Random is not earning. Example I go to work I know what im getting for my work and I know I can potentially purchase something that I want with the currency that I Earn for doing a job I knew I would get payed for. The other way is more like oh I mowed the grass and then randomly a item appeared or I walked a old lady across the street and boom, a random non selected or chosen items falls out of the old lady. Your earned argument basically gives the idea that anyone who goes to work and earns agreed upon currency for a agreed upon job and purchases a item like food or shelter or "weapons" didn't really earn those. They would have, to have randomly had been given those things for tasks that they didn't know they would be get for doing tasks. So basically you are saying everything you own in real life you did NOT earn and you Wal-mEARNED it or you targEARNED it. Your logic is that of a petulant child, grow up.

About 170 motes of light. The rest cannot be proven as earned. Motes can be from engrams but most come from leveling up.

So I got 8 coins from nightfall this week and 9 from heroic weekly. What you are saying is if I got truth for the nightfall instead of the coins I would have earned it. But because I spent the coins I didn't earn from the nightfall plus the extra I didn't earn from the weekly I didn't earn the truth this week. Your logic is flawless you are the master of rationality.

Saying "earning" randomly given exotics is like saying you "earned" an iphone you found laying somewhere that you took, but you didnt "earn" an iphone when you worked for the money to buy it. Strange Coin are earned through Weekly Strikes, Decoherent Engram Decryptions, Loot Chests and sometimes Daily Rewards from Public Events. So what if people have more than one character? Most make one of each class. Some make 3 of one class. I made two Hunters and a Titan. The Hunters will be equipped for one sub class each. One being a pure gunslinger and the other a pure blade dancer. I just need to get another full set of raid gear for one of them and have already earned one full set for my first Hunter already. My Titan is still level 1 so he's got a ways to go before he'll be able to wear that Helm of Saint -14 I got from the nightfall this week.

Only the Exotic Chest for the Sunsinger! Hawkmoon Vex Mythoclast TheLastWord Are really feeling like unique Exotics! Not much ppl have it, and they are all awesome. The rest of the Exotics feels like Better Versions of Legendarys. Yes IceBreaker is Amazing and the Ghorn. But for me personaly, Exotics are not that Great and don't feels like this Ultimate Weapons.

Gjallerhorn and thunder lord were both from exotic engrams. Hawkmoon red death and heart of pharaxis fire were from nightfalls. Hawkmoon and icebreaker from raid exotic chest. Still waiting to earn or xurn my plan c though
