If they're going to keep putting out their content the way they have, they will need quarterly DLC releases. So I'm expecting a season pass twice a year.
If destiny's major expansions "destiny 2" and so on are going to be out every 2 years, that's a lot d DLC and a long time to be stuck with what we have.
I realize the DLC will keep feeding us a few story missions, strikes and a raid. I hope they add more things to do in game, as I'm content with what we have and are getting. But a little more would make me much happier.
I don't want them to dump a bunch of resources to redoing the original release, but a series of tiered improvements with the DLC would do a lot for the game. I don't expect new zones on existing or new planet prior to the next expansion, but opening up the tower more, adding some additional factions and maybe squeezing in some of the things we'd like to have would be nice.
But yes, I agree. They should have a team dedicated solely to each new expansion working far ahead of the DLC team and they should be working independently of the bug/patch team. Which is pretty much how it is I think.

I'd love for the dlc to impress us every time it comes around, but sadly that's all I'm expecting from this game, I'm depending on the sequel to redeem the franchise to all.
