You'd be surprised.
There are a few strikes out there where standing in one place can save you almost all the damage (from the Ultra anyway).

I think I would be surprised. I am not saying this information will not help other people, I am just saying I have played the hardest of the hard aspects of this game (VoG Hard, Nightfall (including Solo), etc...) and have never come across a reason to use it.
