I've run the raid a few times. Funny thing, I just realized that the jumping blocks go all the way to Atheon's door. :P
My buddy informed me "that's the way you're supposed to go".
So what then is the little cave for on the wall we all use? Any guesses?
I've always figured a chest might spawn there under certain conditions...
That, and that island vex portal opposite Atheon's door looks jump-reachable from the 3rd to last vanishing block...
There has to be something we're missing...

No deaths during the raid beforehand will spawn a chest on the rocks below the portal, my clan has done our no death run and we got it.

The whole team deathless? Damn...

The vex gate is for show. You can walk on the way down and across from it on the ledge. You can attempt to jump to it but when you get close there is an unviable wall blocking you from reaching it.

A chest spawning here for no wipes, not being seen by gorgons, etc has been debunked

Yeah I've read it. Some claim to have got one there but they all conveniently forget to record it. Lol

There is no invisible wall. I've gotten to the portal a few times.

Hmmm. We tried jumping there and seemed to hit a wall and dropped straight down. I would like to see video of the jump to see how to reach it. And see others saying there is a chest there at times.

I don't know about a chest. I did a controlled fall to one of the platforms below the cave, then jumped to the portal itself. You can also get there from Atheons door. Jump to the platform below Atheons door, then jump to some of the rocks that are sticking out of the cliff face below the portal. It isn't easy but you can make it.

Well we went to the right from Atheons door and there is a ledge you can walk that ramps at a down slope and brings you straight across from the gate. But we also found the hidden cave under the ledge right after you enter the vault. We are going to explore it more. Just seems like there are a lot if hidden areas left unexplored in the vault. Always curious to explore.

Didn't the Devs actually say that the "real treasure" of the vault hasn't been found yet?

Yeah I have seen multiple people make it to the portal

The vex gate is not for show you can get to it and a chest spawns there if you run the gorgon maze without getting caught on hard

I do me and another group of my friends have gotten it it's hard to do but it's possible and if you do it to slow it will disappear

Weird. I have ran the maze on hard many many times without getting caught and never found a chest.

It might have other requirements but thats what i have found worked for us
