What is the point of them if you choose a faction? Needing legendary gear but having to grind out crucible marks while a pile on vanguard marks sit there tauntingly just seems odd, when both crucible and vanguard rep works toward your faction. Unless future vendors/factions that sell gear for vanguard marks are added, they're utterly useless to me. Edit - This is on an account that does not have vanguard or crucible rank 2, cannot buy armour from those vendors.
