I'm not trying to sound arrogant, but I'm just wondering as I haven't really met many people online that share this hobby with me. I started Lifing in February at 255 pounds and now I weigh 223 and have made a ton of progress in my gains. It's the main thing I like to do and afterwards I'll play destiny haha. Any other people here that lift as well? Just wondering haha comment if you do or just wanna ask anything , for example strength, or maxs or anything like that. Also share any progress you've made,I'd love to hear about it.
Also if there's and advice you could give, feel free to comment. I take in as much as I can and I'm sure some of the other people do too.

Edited by Broseph Stalin: 11/9/2014 12:42:19 AMI got into lifting when I started playing football, and even though football is long over for me (multiple concussions + severe post-concussion syndrome), I still like lifting because it's a great way to stay in shape. My maxes are 220 on bench, 180 on inclined bench, 310 on squat, and 160 on clean. They used to be higher, but I couldn't work out for quite some time after I messed up my head, so I've got to slowly bring them back up. Circuit machines are pretty fun too, and I also love biking. I just wish there were a couple more trails around my house. The ones that are around here get old after you ride on them enough.

I lift Boxes at work because I stock shelves at the store I work at.

Yeah, but I don't really squat or bench, I mostly just stick to the machines and the dumbells.

Been lifting for a couple of years. This year i decided I wanted to lift more so I focus on a steady climb each set. When I started two years ago I could barely bench 95 and squat 65. Now I bench 265 and squat 325. I'm aiming for 300 on bench and 400 in four/five months.

I started lifting in August. I'm not a huge guy, but I'm starting to see the results.

Lifting is not my hobby. Lifting is how I live my life. It has changed me so profoundly that it has become who I am, not what I do.

I started with Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe and followed that until I couldn't recover. Moved on to 5/3/1 by Jim Wendler. I'm a Wendler and elitefts nuthugger I'll admit. I'm reaching for a 1500lb total (squat, bench, dead) by middle of next year. 68" 245 lbs

Edited by Eva Levante: 11/7/2014 4:00:04 AM14 years old. I play football for my school and we have been working out since 7th grade. I can bench just about 185 Ibs! Anybody else?

Been lifting for about 6 years now. I weighed 160lbs at the beginning, gained 50lbs since then. I squat almost 450lbs and bench 325lbs as well. It's well worth the time and dedication.
