I suppose I should've elaborated a little more. I was mainly talking about the perks on the raid gear. A lot of them are raid specific, while that's obviously good for the raid, they're useless outside of it. I see nothing wrong with more options of endgame gear. If they were to stitch a few strikes together and put in a boss at the end, we could have one more activity to do in order to get endgame gear. The gear obtained from the strike would be more PvE related instead of raid related.
Any game like this I've ever played has roughly 3 options of endgame gear, PvE, PvP, and Raid.
