The RNG System Doesn't Benefit Destiny.

I am writing this forum post to say that the RNG is stupid and that it shouldn't be system of acquiring the loot. My friend's done the Nightfall strike only to receive a Legendary Engram which turned out to be a shitty Shotgun. This I can forgive but going through the Raid only rewarded him with Ascendant Energies and the sniper Patience and Time which he had just bought from Xur is a middle finger to him for doing the Raid. The Daily Missions have only awarded him with Ascendant Energies. He has now amassed 49 Energies and 0 Shards and the same sniper he bought. You preach about earning your gear and then make it so that every good piece of loot is RNG from a arduous task. Why would you tell people to earn their loot and then make everything RNG, it's retardedly hypocritical of you. At least implement a post-game trade system so that when I get the exotic Scout Rifle (MIDA Multi Tool) that he so desperately wants so I can give it to him as he hasn't gotten an exotic weapon until he bought it and, his reward for buying it from Xur, having it rammed down his throat for completing the Raid. Not only this but when he does get a lucky RNG drop Legendary Engram he gets, you guessed it, Energies! He wants a usable weapon, not upgrade materials for it. I too wish there was a trade system as my other friend got the Heart of the Praxic Fire Warlock chest piece which I have tried to acquire for so long and he does not care for but he gets to keep it and I get a Legendary Hand Cannon for completing the Nightfall whilst he gets the chest piece. "Earn your loot." Unless it's loot you want in which case just hope blind luck rewards you, rather than actually earning the loot. I don't want to sound like a whiny bitch, it's just aggravating to see someone get the loot I want and know I can't get it without blind luck and even more aggravating to see my friend get useless Energies, not even Shards to level up, time and time again for multiples of the same gun he has shoved down his throat the one time he buys an exotic. I'm a long-time fan of yours Bungie. I played the shit out of Reach. You earned your armour customisation in that and, whilst the loot is entirely different than it was in Reach, there must be some way for you to earn loot rather than RNG it. Perhaps you could make Xur sell more than one piece of armour per class and perhaps even a second weapon or at least Xur could not sell the same pieces of gear three weeks in a row, eg: Sunbreaker gauntlets, Voidfang Vestments and The Armamentarium. Seriously, I love Destiny, the gameplay is fantastic but it has so many flaws, the loot system being the most aggravating as it's purely RNG and you have the nerve to tell us to earn our loot when you know it's based entirely on luck. I know I'm not the only one who thinks the RNG system is stupid. I know why you don't have a loot system in place, so high levels don't just give low levels exotics so they don't have to earn their gear but please a post-game lot system, I see my friend get a bit of loot I want and I get loot he wants, let us swap. We've both gone through the same mission to get this loot, let us swap it. We both earned it and didn't get what we wanted. It's infuriating to know that something so simple could make the game vastly more enjoyable but that RNG shits on us instead so we have to hope that Xur will sell what we want or that next week the RNG won't shit on us and that's stupid when our prize is dangled in front of us and then given to someone who doesn't want it. I hope you can at least consider this post as something of worth and not just whiny bitching, which it is, but I feel it's justified, as do many others.
