Has nobody ever thought that maybe Microsoft realised this game was going to be a huge disappointment and so did not buy the exclusive rights to early access as they realised they wouldn't make much money on it. Microsoft knew this game was not going to be as successful as everybody thought and therefore knew the DLCs would not go down well.
