how's the recoil? I've come to value recoil over basically anything else, so how does it compare to the stranger's rifle?

I dismantled the strangers rifle since I had another gun I liked better. But the recoil on the VoC isn't bad at all. There's also a perk I haven't unlocked yet that greatly improves stability. I can't wait to unlock that. Honestly holding down the trigger rather than having to constantly hit the trigger makes it easier to aim as well.
