Okay so on Tuesday I saw a friend was doing the Weekly Heroic Strike and decided to join him since there was a slot free. Unfortunately I was a bit too late and joined as he hit the results screen. I received no coins (and rightly so), but I did get credit for the completion. 2400 experience was added to a 9000 experience bounty I had, the bounty for finishing a weekly was completed, and the main menu no longer listed any rewards. Unfortunately there isn't even a record for this in my recent games log so I can't link it, but I can give you the gamertag of the friend if requested. Maybe make it so players cannot join after Mission End? I wouldn't mind getting those coins added if that's at all possible too or at least the flag that dictates whether I can earn any or not to be reset so I an do it again.
