Agreed There is a difference between exclusive DLC content where one platform has to wait longer to buy the content, and what Bungie are doing here - where both groups are paying the same (stupidly high) price for the content and one group are getting less.
Worse yet, it's a strike. That will mean that a full quarter of the strike playlist is locked to a single platform.
I bitterly regret buying the version of the game that included the DLC pass. I won't be playing it - I'm off to overdrive.

I too am filled with regret. I will play The Dark Below and House of Wolves because I already paid for them and can't get a refund. But I won't hesitate to enjoy Alien Isolation, Shadow of Mordor, Sunset Overdrive, The Evil Within, and Lords of the Fallen. Destiny can collect dust on my shelf until December.

Really? That’s a pretty high wager considering it’s probably in mint, unused condition. I won’t be betting my testicles (I use mine), but I’d be happy to put up a cash as an ante. That is a bet I’d absolutely take. Already on my hard-drive I have Sunset Overdrive, Lords of the Forsaken, The Halo Collection and Dragon Age 3. By girlfriend hasn’t played any Halo ever, so that’ll be a timesink – also I think she’ll be making me play AC:Unity. Plus I hear that GTA:O characters carry over from last gen, so that’d take care of my online itch. I will say one thing though – the thing that would bring us back during the Nov/Dec period isn’t anything in the DLC – but if they did a pure PVE event in the same spirit as Banner/Wrath with worthwhile gear and a little world-building story… I’d probably be into that. But the way the first two events went down, and due to how underwhelming the first DLC is looking, I’m not sure that Bungie can pull that off. They’re saying three story missions for the paid $20 DLC – where I was looking for limited-time story missions that would be a part of each ‘event’, something that would tie them to the world.
