Bungie spent the last two console gens developing solely for Xbox! How frustrating was that for them?
It is simply part of business and marketing. Though not a console exclusive, this practice is a nod in that direction. Remember how smug you felt playing Titanfall? What if Destiny was a PS4 exclusive?

Honestly, a lot less people wouldn't have been mad if it was a PS4 exclusive. Because a lot of people feel like they wasted their money on this game, with the lack of content. Don't get me wrong, I love Destiny, but haven't purchased the DLC yet, and having serious doubts now. 1/2 the strikes that PS gets is a blow. and for a year... 2 new strikes and 2 raids isn't going to keep Xbox users entertained until Fall. And I bet you that most won't come back then anyways.

I like destiny. But I'd of happily kept the game as a ps4 exclusive (I'm on xbox one). It's good. But only for so long. If it was exclusive for ps I would've saved some Money. Hah.
