You will get that extra strike in a year and then that will be the end of the exclusive content. It could have been the entire expansion pack.

I honestly was worried I was going to have to wait a year for the house of wolves expansion pack, these few things are not that huge of a deal. You will still get to play them in the end. The PlayStation exclusivity ends fall of next year then everything is level so whatevs, we still have a comet pack around that time according to the Activision/Bungie contract. • Actually according to the contract that will come 2 years after the original release of Destiny...so fall 2016! I just hope it will either port the characters, or it will just add on to the existing game. I hope its not completely separate I was really hoping for the WoW like evolution.

  • Yeah. I thought it was 10 games in 10 years (it sounds crazy and I thought it was crazy). But who is to say that Sony won't buy that stuff again.

I don't think this is likely though, I don't think Bungie would want to continue the exclusivity because it only hurts them. This was payed for by PlayStation to push units, hence why the advertising appeared you had to have a PlayStation. After the one year time frame of minimal exclusive stuff, it gets patched to xbox as well. Then the "comet" pack gets released which i can only imagine would be something large enough to call game altering, with more DLC to go with that for the next year until D2 gets released.

Well that's a bummer :/ Maybe Microsoft will pony up the dough next time, since they were quite ticked PlayStation get the exclusivity. Destiny Perfume

  • Personally I hope nobody does. But Microsoft has been buying a lot of stuff as of late. Mojang (the company that makes minecraft), Titanfall. I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft puts 1 billion + into it. Hell, they might try to make it an exclusive.
