Yeah, well the difference is no one on a PlayStation ever paid for Halo. In fact, even for CoD exclusives, they just plain were not offered on other platforms for a month.
This whole deal of paying the same amount of money for Xbox and Playstation DLC, but only getting 80% of the content on the xbox platforms, is actually unprecedented, if not possibly illegal.
If this is true, I think there is a case for, at the very least, a partial refund. Especially to those that paid for the DLC with the Ghost and Collector's editions, that were given no advanced warning of this.
Bad form, Bungie and Activision. Bad form indeed

Actually it's been known for a couple years now that Playstation would have exclusive content.
-
No they only mentioned the Multiplayer Map and the first Strike Dust palace along with the weapons and armor, this is what was advertised as PS exclusive. Please show me where they STATED dlc would also come with exclusive content?
-
They also stated future content. I believe it was e3 2012 or 2013......and you can look it up yourself.

In the original relese.

My only gripe is the fact that we as X1 users get one freaking strike from a $20 DLC while PS users get twice that much. If the ratio was better distributed (we get 3 you guys get 4) I'd be less pissed off. But as it is we are paying $20 for 3 story missions, 1 strike, 1 raid, and pvp maps I would just as soon not buy at all. So if you ignore pvp maps (because I've always found them to be a waste of money) you guys are getting 100% more strike content for your money and 20% more content over all. We are paying the same exact price as you (and I can't take back my pre-purchase) for significantly less content over all. It is -blam!-ing ridiculous.
-
you still get the "exclusive content" just not right away. just think when 2015 rills around xbox gets the new strikes and new exotics. so its something to look forward too.

Lol I doubt many people will be playing this game at all by that point...

I will be :)

I've done everything in the game so many times over except the raid on hard. Two dlcs with only 5-6 missions each is not going to last a year. I love this game but I am not sure how long I can personally keep playing with the amount of content. I think bungie should have just gone full blown mmo with a sub fee and consistently added actual new content. As this game stands there isn't much incentive for keeping content coming as they already made profit from game sales. I wouldn't be surprised if destiny only has these 2 dlcs then they quit and work on destiny 2.
