Today I learned that this forum is filled with a lot of self entitled, whiny babies. Not all of you, but a lot of you. As others have mentioned Sony has a marketing deal with Bungie and this much was made clear well before you spent money on the game. You should really do homework on something you're spending money on. If you have enough time to post about it on a forum then you have time to read up on what you're buying.

How is his post ignorant and offensive triggor? 1: ignorance by definition means "not having knowledge." ignorant may imply a general condition or it may apply to lack of knowledge or awareness of a particular thing. Therefore I counter your knowledge on the subject you being ignorant because if you read these post and forums you in deed become self aware and gain knowledge in learning that the majority of people on here are crybabies. qa engineer didn't say all poster to this thread are as such and that would be ignorant. Now the second part of his post being offensive. Would Imply that some one takes offensive to it. If you're offended by being called a crybabies then this world is doomed. This world is unfair and if you thing it's candy land then wake the -blam!- up you little bitch does that make it more offensive to you!!! Let that sink in. He pretty much stated that before destiny dropped that it was mostly exclusive to playstation not Xbox. So looks like you made an ignorant purchase. Stop whining suck it up and move on
qa engineer I have your back
This isn't about being self entitled. Your post is ignorant and offensive. If Xbox owners are paying the same amount of money as PS4 but miss out on content that will not be unlocked to them for at least a year then we have every right to complain. It's completely different if a console gets some minor exclusive content like ninja bounty, exotics, skins but when you leave out major content like a strike then that is just wrong. I really wish I didn't pay 90 bucks for the digital edition with the season pass. That will be the first and last time I ever do that. Bungie does indeed have to shoulder some of this blame since their top brass I'm sure was in those meetings with Activision and Sony on how to bend over the loyal Xbox player base without the proper benefit of providing lubricant first. I have written off Battlefield after that BF4 debacle, Bungie is next in line and I'm sure large numbers of people will follow suit.

I'm not sure how my post is ignorant or offensive. I don't think those words mean what you think they mean, but I digress.

I read up, nowhere did it state that the PAID DLC would have parts of it locked for one year on the xbox console. The launch bonus content yes, paid DLC content? No that was never said,
-
It did actually
-
Source? I never read about the DLC having content locked out for a year. I knew of the launch bonus content but never read about the DLC. So yea source? Otherwise it's just talking out of your ass.

So that justifies the fact that Xbox users will spend the same amount of money and get less content? Bungie needs to stop screwing themselves over
-
Edited by Koala-T: 10/29/2014 5:56:51 PMThere is nothing to justify. The terms of the deal stipulate that Sony gets to co-brand their product with Destiny, and have exclusive rights to certain pieces of content in exchange for marketing services and cash exchange. If Microsoft had the same deal in place whereby certain pieces of DLC were exclusive to their platform would you be up in arms on behalf of Playstation owners? No. And I would be posting the same thing to the Playstation gamer who would undoubtedly be making a similar post to yours. Your job as a consumer is to be an educated one so that you make informed purchasing decisions. Don't throw cash at something and complain later because you didn't read the fine print.

Actually I would be saying the same thing. You release a full product to everyone who pays. You want to make deals with Sony make the game exclusive. Let me explain it as a physician (which I am). you come in with Insurance from kaiser with a shoulder issue and I give you steroid injections and cold therapy, as well as manipulation. Your neighbor with the exact injury comes in and all I give them are steroid injections (the most beneficial of all the therapies listed). Both insurances companies pay me, the provider the same amount, but I gave you better service/more interventions based purely on the fact that I have a deal with kaiser. I'd get sued. I'd lose me license. Kaiser would get sued. So why if I am paying the same amount of money for the same product should I get less? Either make it exclusive to one console or the other make it equitable. Marketing more strongly for 1 vs the other is one thing... But robbing Peter to pay Paul is ridiculous.... Regardless of which console is doing it.

Thanks for comparing computer software to that of physician care.

You are welcome.
