I have to say though - Hunters really have it hard in PvE - 9/10 times speed has only been nice for getting from A - Z faster. Hunters have the WORST health regen. My Ult is a level 27 Hunter - My main is a 29 Titan. I barely feel the speed difference. Speed is trash in PvE. Maybe it should also effect reloads or something?

 • I hear what you mean re: crappiest regen, but when you select the two final class stat upgrades, the hunter has more regen than speed or armor (I actually used to run my hunter Armor > Speed > Regen, but found that the Regen > Speed > Armor setup really lends itself to effective hit-and-run tactics, which suits me just perfectly). The speed helps you jump higher (def useful for getting the drop/angle on baddies), plus I feel like it makes a difference going toe-to-toe, since the strafing seems to help you dodge bullets like Neo from the Matrix.

 • When I was able to max regen on my hunter, I couldn't have done it fast enough. It's tipping the scales though - I raid every week with both characters and it's like night and day going from my titan to my hunter. If I max regen - I have no armor and vice versa. Hunters could be doing way more in PvE.... PvP I feel they do very well.

 • I hear ya. My thinking on it, though, is that if I'm relying a lot on my armor (in other words, if I'm taking sustained fire regularly), I'm doing it wrong. Also, I feel a slow regen time really changes the way I play the hunter, for the worse--all the extra time I have to spend ducking behind cover sort of mitigates the usefulness of the agility.

 • I just think the Templar fight, where people have to be semi-stationary. The oracle phase especially can be a major pain.

 • Okay, now I understand. I haven't done the Raid yet, so I haven't had had to deal with oracles, but I can definitely see how the Recovery > Agility > Armor setup would put you at a disadvantage in that situation. Thanks for the tip!

 • Ah - you'll find yourself a good time friend. I would recommend staying toward the middle during the oracle phase. The edge snipers can hit hard, putting you in a panic state. I generally hold far left side, where the spawns come from (you'll know what I'm talking about when you do the raid) . On my Titan I have very little issues, on my hunter... well you can only move so fast in a closed room. I'd say best of luck to your first time but you'll do fine.

 • Thanks for the vote of confidence. I need to do the Raid soon because I'm almost to the point where I'm going to only focus on PVP (been holding that off for as long as possible; not because I don't like PVP, but because when I get into it, I am committed).
