And, forgot to mention in other post. Hunters are not useless in the VoG. Yes, they are definitively underpowered with all the void damage, and radiance is good in raids because it lets you self revive. But remember, there are at least 2 more raids. They are for the fallen and the hive. Both of the solar classes are mid range, and the hive are especially weak to solar damage. The 2 arc damage subclasses are VERY CQC. I doubt the raid against the fallen, who are weak to arc damage would prevent the people with arc damage from being Very important. So remember this, you may not be the most useful in the VoG, but there may be times in future raids that the other guardians cannot handle but you in that moment, are at the peak of you game.

  • Hunters are useless. No one fight the boss anymore, you have a portal team and a cheese team. portal team kill oracles, cheese team knock him off with nades

  • Hunters are great in raid. Apparently they don't know about golden gun? Example being, killing harpies outside during the last phase on atheon, being able to clean up harpies around active side gate is a huge plus. I don't see why all the hate. The classes are balanced (although do need some tweeking) and everyone can play a vital role. However class does not make up for lack of player ability. Any gun (regardless of class) = more dps which are what the fights are all about in this game. (*note enrage timers).

  • The void damage isn't what makes any subclass more useful than another. The voidwalker is nowhere near as useful as sunsinger. The gunslinger is useful in the current raid as a member of the teleporting party. On Venus he can super and shoot the pretorian to make life easier for the relic holder.

  • Except Arc blade super for Bladedancers is garbage in pve. Big neon sign what says "Please stomp on me" Besides, plenty of weapons to be had that deal arc damage. By the time the next raid is out I'll have options at max for every type of element.

  • That's what I'm saying... Arcblade and Fist of Havoc require you to get really close so I suspect that the raid against the fallen will be a more CQC raid

  • I doubt it. The fallen have snipers as well. And the Hive are might be more cqc oriented, but they're also pretty good at aoe bombardment with boomers. I expect it'll be alot of fighting off hordes of thralls and sword knights with a high chance of void explosive hail.

  • I'm talking about the raid after Crota's End. It supposed to be in the reef. It's just a guess, but in end game situations, CQC subclasses like the bladedancer and the Striker suffer.

  • Fist of Havoc is crazy useful for clearing rooms of weaker enemies, with aftermath I've seen it kill captains and knights with shields. Bladedancer... Well... Not so much.
