Well I have a level 30 Hunter and I was almost always the last person to die when I did the hard raid. It's not just about class but about play style.
Also fun fact, in my raid group of four level 29's and two level 30's(myself included), on the Gatekeeper all the level 29's died after my fellow level 30(he was a Warlock) and I left the second portal and we had to defend the Conflux by ourselves. We succeeded.

When I say conflux, I meant the one before the oracles. Trying doing it on hard with your hunter. if you ever see a lvl 30 only run, hunter are excluded cause they can't resurrect or use protection bubbles.

I've done it before. The people that kept dying were Warlocks and Titans. Like I said, play style. You have to know how to use your class.

Edited by loonigus: 10/27/2014 9:19:58 AMFrom what I saw lvl 30s have a considerably easier time on the hard raid then lvl 29s. One lvl makes a huge difference on hard, but if the lvl 29s arent totaly bad then with propper weapons they should be able to defent the conflux. Also Hunters seem to be decent in in the gates with the golden gun. Ive witnessed on my Normal run that ppl are very bad even in PVE... Two dudes on same level as me died over and over again while me on my first VoG try defended a pillar alone lol. With no raid weapons... :)

Good for you.
