Blade Dancer really is essentially useless (suicidal even) but Gunslinger sure as hell isn't. You my friend simply ran into what's commonly referred to as an elitist in MMO circles, and a rather big prick at that. Just ignore him and continue on your merry way, don't let ignorant jerks like him ruin your fun.
