I just received the bad juju and I don't see why people think it's so bad I'm quite enjoying it, besides getting used to a pulse rifle. My only problem is that it should be able to take on a surous regime at a distance

Yea apparently all bungie cares about is nerfing good guns that only like 1% of the players even have.

Thorn is complete garbage right now. Fatebringer is much much better and it's a legendary. The mag size (yes I know it's a cylinder so effoff all you anal retentive people) is way to small and the reload time is truckload. The impact is good and range is okay but overall it sucks and should be demoted to legendary status.

I don't understand why it takes so long. is it that hard to simply add a few more bullets and/or increase the reload time on the Thorn/Bad Juju? The thorn's reload speed absolutely kills it. If you've ever been lucky enough to get both Thorn and The Last Word i'd assume after using the Last Word; you threw your Thorn away faster than Bungie took away the ability to buy Ascendant Shards/Energy from Xur.

Last word still needs a range increase.

I have the Juju upgraded to String of Curses and as stated - it simply too underpowered. Maybe this changes with the further level buffs but from the sound of things, I doubt it! The String of Curses is only useful in PvE where you are battling low level foes. It is as about as useful as a chocolate tea pot in anything above 24 and PvP. The Daily, Weekly, Nightfall and VoG on a higher level....forget it! Takes more than 15 bullets to drop anyone in that without taking into account shields so its one redeeming feature becomes useless. Probably the best fix method would be a slight raise in damage per shot (maybe an anything above the waist multiplier increase for torso shots also) and/or an increase in the mag size slightly - maybe 3 to 4 extra bursts if that makes sense? It needs to be that you can technically kill most normal foes with a burst or so to share - its not meant to be a scout rifle where every shot missed is felt. Treating it as such ruins it. That said, it should not be a case of it can kill everything in one mag so you get the never-ending mag effect. THAT makes it overpowered. It should be kill most normal foes at below 24 and if you hit every shot, most above. This is why the Myth and Suros are very dangerous and goto weapons in most cases - the ability to kill 2-4 people in a mag is not acceptable. I am halfway through the Thorn Exotic run and I've pretty much lost interest. I have a good legendary HC and I'll stick with that I think. Anyhoo, that's my 2p. I'd like it to be adjusted as I didn't work hard through the bounty to get it to not use it as its pants lol. I'm not as skilled as others :). Chris

Don't forget Pocket Infinity! That got whacked with the nerf bat too. It's a valid point you raise. I see no reason why a buff to weapons would be any harder or take any longer than nerfing others.

Bad JuJu's buff is way overdue. Almost every legendary pulse rifle is better than it in every way. The only thing that makes it different is the string of curses that isn't even very useful. I think they are just spending a shit ton of time debating whether or not the buff will start a nerf riot. If they make it slightly better than a legendary that means it is unfair to everybody who ever played the game and should be turned into a tampon launcher so that everyone has a fair chance.

bungie stated that they understand that both the weapons are a little weak right now... but their main goal is to make the game playable to the average player. This means adjusting anything the "break" the game(ie mythocast). also bungie never said a buff is coming, they said their (bad juju and thorn) will come, be patient with bungie. also in reference to the mythocast. yes it was broken, i a average player becomes the best in the game/match with just one weapon then that weapon is broken. balance in a game is when everyone is doing their own thing, not when everyone is doing the same thing. O and don't complain about something not getting a buff if you don't have it

I have the Thorn and in comparsion to the Hawkmoon or Last Word it is laughable. It needs an increase in the magazine to atleast match the other two and stability buff. Bad Juju needs a complete overhaul... A pulse rifle with 12 bullets in the magazine? LOL! A fcking handgun has more lol.

in my opinion some guns are perfect for a class. I'll use Thorn as an example, it has good impact and range, plus the lingering damage is nice but it has terrible reload and stability ( that doesn't bother me too much) The gunslinger has 2 perks which can make Thorn godly, and thats chain of woe and gunslingers trance chain of woe: increases reload speed with each precision kill (stacks 3 times) Gunslingers trance: Increases stability with each precision kill ( stacks 3 times) so 3 precision kills i got a hancannon with the stability of a scoutrifle and the reload speed of a fusion rifle maxed out.
