I normally run striker in PVP unless Im playing control. When I do go defender, I use armor of light. Equip the shotgun and just wait. Rarely do I lose that dual. Especially with my saint 14 helm. Its inevitable that someone is going to step up. And its inevitable im going to punch them to death. But I do agree ward needs some help. You really need saint 14 for it to truly shine in PVE. Without it, its just a buff for your teammates because the enemies you really need it for will just walk in and beat you to death. With it though its extremely potent. But our special shouldn't require an exotic to shine. And don't get me started on striker in PVE, like bladedancers, its totally worthless past lvl 24 content.(and its iffy there)
