RNG based loot system
I have a question for Bungie about its RNG base loot equation. Back no so long ago when Borderlands 2 was released, alot of the player base asked Gearbox how there loot system. Being a random number generator, there is still a mathematical equation involve in dropping of the loot.
Gearbox in turn released a whole press release on hoe the system works. Im asking Bungie to do the same.
Answers to questions for instance:
Was there really any thought put into the loot drop system or was it just thrown together?
Is it just a pull from the hat?
Does stats and scores have a play in said drops?
What is the percentage a person has to recieve a drop? (Most weapons in borderlands 2 had a .1% chance other were higher in the loot drop equation)
This is a number system so there has to be an equation where it is random or not. The weather is the only thing that is truely random, and people with turrets.

2 Repliesthere is more to it than just rng as i have proven by my last few days using level 1 crap common armor and weapons on my level 27. i finally went up to level 15 uncommons and it slowed down and basically became just rares. i now have a whole safe full of rares and a huge pile of sapphire wire and weapon parts lol. the lower the armor and weapons level the more the loot drops. i put back on my 27 level gear and run the same thing again and get nothing. i try it with level 21 light and a small improvement but not much. i am sorry to say it but i am getting bored again. i leveled up the cryptard decoding the rares but all he gave me were more rares lol. i am still probably going to level up the vanguard later on and see what i get but pfffft. i guess i am bored.
