I got the fate bringer and the last word today from the hard raid. The two best hand cannons in the game xD

It is great, reliable burst and able to overpower most other weapons in close-med range. Last-word suffers in PvE as it blows through ammo and has pretty bad range meaning you'll need to be close to do any decent damage. Fatebringer is better in PvE because it has better range / impact / clip / arc damage plus the perks are awesome. Explosive-rounds stagger often and precision kills causing both enemies to explode and super fast reload means it can keep the DPS up. A fully upgraded fatebringer can 2-3 shot most of the yellow trash mobs in HM VoG and it wrecks anything in this week's nightfall due to arc.

Man that makes all that work for the Thorn useless lol. I'm betting you can only get those from the VoG on hard right? Haha seems all the best weapons are like that.

I dismantled my thorn after I got it from the bounty. It wasn't good at all being that it's an EXOTIC hand cannon

It's more rare than the scout rifle and Aeth Epilogue but not as rare as the Praetorian Foil Fusion Rifle or Praedyth Timepiece arc-pulse. Last Word is 100% RnJesus for now until it pops up at Xur, which it will one-day as all non-bounty non-raid exotics are on Xur's loot list based on what that one guy did with his clock-settings. You can look at its stats on my toon, think I still have it equipped :0
