Bro it took my team like 6 times before we beat it. And like you said we had one guy hanging back just in case. It was pretty tough.

    I beat it with twice, once with each of my titans and no one in my teams ever set foot in the boss room proper. We wanted to fight it directly but doing that seemed unreasonably suicidal.

  • It is certain death. OHK left and right. I don't think it's possible without leaving somebody behind. Maybe that's the tactic they want us to use?

    That's what I would like to know too. That's why I want to see them play it. I don't care about their weaksauce pvp community bounties for crucible where damage and defense are normalized and even super abilities from level 4 players can kill you while in full raid armor. I want to see Bungie Devs go to in that room and stay there until Phogoth is dead. I want to see them deal with the OHK sword wielding Hallowed Knights; deal with getting swarmed by two shotting thralls, run for cover when bombarded by a quartet of wizards. I want to see them do it because if they can't do it and they made the game then how are players supposed to be able to do it without cheese? And that last part is a genuine question. If anyone has an answer please do share.

  • It can't be done without cheesing behind that rock at the far side of the room or people just hanging back in the entrance Way to many enemies hitting you from all directions. If a wizard spots you, prepare to sit waiting for his stream of bolts end for what feels like 2 minutes It wouldn't be so bad if you killed the enemies and that was it. The fact they constantly spawn is what makes it pretty cheap, I don't like that strike for that reason alone
