At the moment, I'm sure we're all in agreement that in the current late and end-game of Destiny, there is not a lot to do with glimmer. Sure, we can use it to buy upgrades, or spam low-quality engrams for cryptarch rank, but that still will barely make a dent in your wallet. Instead, guardians should have something to work towards, something to save up for.
Increase Guardian Vault Size
Players love collecting items, they love holding onto backup sets of armour and guns just because they look cool are is their perfect PVP setup, or even holding onto items in hopes of trading them to others some day. But with a maximum of sixty (60) slots split across three types of items, that ability to collect is severely limited. Why not add an NPC, or even a give an NPC the option to increase your vault size for glimmer? It gives late and end-game players something to spend all that glimmer on, and the pack rats and collectors among us have the option to pursue their hobbies!
I'm no developer, but I do not believe there would be much coding that would need to be added or changed to make this an option, making it a quick, easy addition to improve the tower. From a canonical side, it can be seen as a thank-you from the tower residents to Guardians for bringing in so much programmable matter for the city.
Not a very well fleshed out idea i'm sure, but I'd love to see your opinions on this, everyone!
