Yrs they did. You're supposed to destroy the oracles before they finish their song (a wall). None of those platforms allow you the ability to do that. If you keep the Templar from teleporting the whole fight there is a bonus chest. From the platforms that would be impossible, further suggesting that to be the wrong way to do it. -_-
