Why we cant Share
In my opinion, the reason we can't share items amongst ourselves is because then they'd have to make an online haggling market and no one would do missions and shiz anymore.

No trading anything for strange coins. 2 for 1 for Ascendant things. 1:1 for farming items(relic iron, spin metal, exc.) Problem solved. Hire me Bungie.

There would be no motivation for anything if everything you could earn or find would be trade able. Why do nightfall, pvp or raid when it's easier to just have anyone trade and give it to you...
