I have just started hearing about this, and I think that is just excellent. Praise is deserved for including something like that. But surely that also eliminates the need for the kill volume. I know I want to try for the chest now. My gear won't upgrade itself!

What exactly is a kill volume? I didn't understand that part. There is also an extra chest (supposedly) if you manage to build the spire in the first part without letting a Praetorian take control of any of the 3 circles. Not sure if there are any other bonuses in the raid.
