destiny pvp lore and changes.

I posted this in feedback, but it is just filled with ridiculous threads, currently. So lets see how it does here. This is my opinion on how pvp should be handled in destiny, since it currently has no place in the game, from a lore and balance standpoint. This entire idea is far reaching and would take a little work to accomplish, but I believe it would be worth it. Crucible: as it stands, crucible is the "balanced" version of pvp combat. I suggest transforming the crucible into a completely balanced combat zone, where you choose weapons and gear designed specifically for this mode. Before you enter the crucible, you choose your load out based on how you plan to play. Supers will still be in use, so they represent the only imbalance in the game. Or turn them off, it doesn't matter. Each class would have two sets of armor, one for each subclass, emphasizing bonuses for those subclasses. Each weapon type would also have 2-3 options, giving a decent range of impact, rate of fire and range. Lore-wise, the crucible will be accessed via the tower(for more reasons to actually visit the tower) by entering a virtual platform behind the crucible masters. It should be obvious that the mode is training for guardians and has no bearing on the story, beyond honing your skills against other guardians. Playing the crucible now yields vanguard marks, and crucible gear becomes vanguard gear. However, faction gear is still bought with different marks, called faction marks(name subject to change). This is where things become unlikely, but far more exciting. A new mode, called faction war will then be added permanently. It will fill the role of iron banner, which no longer exists as an event, but instead as a faction. Lore for this mode would be some thing like "relations between the factions has become tenuous at best, there have even been ambushes out in the field! We need you to strike back, for (faction)!" This mode would be 20+ only, since you need to wear a faction class piece to even enter. Once you enter as a faction, you cannot change factions for one month. This mode will not be based on balance, since things you earn in pve AND pvp will be usable to the best of your abilities. The mode will consist of bigger teams and lasting consequences. Battles would typically consist of 2-4 teams representing their faction to gain dominance on a persistent scale. When you look at the solar map, each planet(and moon) will have a bar above it, to represent faction dominance. The faction with the most of their color on the bar is currently controlling the planet(violet for fwc, white for dead orbit, yellow for iron banner, and red for monarchy). To halo your faction secure a planet, you select the planet, then select a newly added mission point labeled faction war. This will give you maps that occur on that planet, and victory will yield progress towards dominance. The maps will have a random game mode. (It could be that the first place faction. Can only face second place, but second can only face first and third, and so on) Each subsequent planet your faction controls adds a bonus for pvp and pve. I won't touch on the rewards since they could be anything. I have ideas, but balance must be considered. The tower will reflect a faction if they control the entire system, though. In addition, faction leaders will now carry faction themed shaders, ships, ghost shells, more varied weapons and armor, more faction class pieces, more faction emblems, sparrows(all rarities), and exotic faction gear at the highest tier, available only during complete system control. All this would require a faction reset to at least rank 3, however. I think that's all I have for now, and I apologise for the long post, and any error in it(I'm on my phone). I hope you like it and any feedback is welcome, especially yours, bungie.
