The templar is such an easy fight... you never needed those platforms. It's just for dumbeffing lousy lame poopers that are unable to to move further than 2 meters.

I think it has come down to more of people wanting to "speedrun" or do it as quickly as possible. Because most conversations I've seen about it have to do more with how tedious and time consuming it is, rather than difficulty.

This. Even my first time fighting it, it was a cake walk. I would understand missing an exploit for a ridiculously hard boss, but the Templar? How many people out there can actually beat the Vault for real?

I was forced in my first 4-5 runs to do the pillar technique and I did not understand why. I thought the boss must have been hell. But then one team didn't jump up the pillar and I asked why and got a "Only shitheads jump up there and wait 15 minutes to drop the boss" and then gave me a 2 liner what to do and it was down in around 5 minutes. Bams. And was it hard? Okay I died 2 times due to the boss and one minotaur but thats about it.

Right? I just unloaded on the thing with my Zombie Apocalypse and killed harpies/miniatures for a few minutes! All the exploiters need to of is learn rudimentary motors skills to get by without their precious platforms! I'm glad their patching these things, I hate easy-modo speed runs. It sucks the fun out of it.

But I HAVE to admit... Pushing Atheon down is fun... it looks soooo retarded. Yes they will fix this too and yes it's better off being fixed... but I love to do it :D

I'm sure it's funny, never seen it myself though. I'd like to see it happen, but I don't want it to become an unspoken requirement for raid runs by people who treat this game like its a day job.
