I have struggled with Destiny through hate/love/addiction/boredom. I have had countless hours of fun in every aspect of the game; including countless times I've thought why the hell isn't [insert said problem and/or idea] been implemented in the game to improve it. The list of problems in this game go on forever, but this game is still F'ing FUN! A giant problem is the lack of content, the game feels very unpolished, aside from the gameplay, which is F'ing FUN! My biggest problem right now is with the end game Vault of Glass. Everyone is rushing to cheese Atheon off the cliff with his stupid, pointless AI which tells him to avoid constant AOE damage. You realize that Atheon on Hard is the last PVE achievement we will have until December right? So you enter the raid with six people and it takes coordination and teamwork to get to the last boss. Then one person can kill the boss before the first phase of the boss fight even begins. I'm not asking you guys who have done this to defend yourselves, it's fine, finish your game and please don't enjoy the challenge. I should remind you that this is the last big challenge this game offers. Remind yourselves when the DLC comes out how hard Atheon was when you first killed him on Hard and earned your items that made the next kill easier. Reflect on the awesome memory of how everyone on your six man team did their job flawlessly to slay the beast. Some of us will be able to really reflect on how we earned our awesome Atheon loot and some won't. To those of you who cheese Atheon on hard are really cheesing yourself out of a fun challenge and reward. Just remember once you get those Mythoclasts and full raid gear the fight will never offer that same rewarding feeling, it will feel easy and you will now need more CONTENT to enjoy. So cheese yourself please. What really irks me is how long bungie is allowing this to continue without even addressing their stance on the matter. Do they support it? Will they prevent it? Should we stop doing it because we will face a penalty? Bungie's silence on this matter makes sick because this is the last / hardest challenge we currently have available in the game. Bungie is letting us piss and crap all over the "hardest" challenge in the game, months before any DLC is set to release. Let's also not forget how these Mythoclasts are flying into the hands of players who will in turn bring them into the crucible scene. I've killed plenty of Mythoclast owners, the gun does take skill to aim, well placed shots from a skilled player can destroy a Mythoclast noob. I just don't think that means we should be allowed to cheese this much end game loot into the "crucible" scene. I really thought Bungie should have taken down the servers for an emergency maintenance to fix this problem. It's a shame they haven't even publicly responded, meanwhile their endgame content is getting annihilated and in turn people are bringing these items into the crucible. You F'ed up big time Bungie, where the hell is your response? It's just a huge shock to think Bungie would let this happen to their end game raid. Isn't anyone else shocked by Bungie's lack of involvement in this situation? Crazy.
