I think there should be at LEAST three full sets of armor that will get you to level 30. There should be the raid set (PVE), a crucible set (PVP), iron banner set would have been awesome. And one other set that can be found either through PVE or PVP. But that set is hella rare.
That way everybody can hit 30 playing however they want.

Dude, make a thread on this! This is totally right IMO. I mean overall, I'm ok if I can only get to 29, kinda leaves things open for me. But the main reason I even came on this thread about level 30 and the raid is cause I just don't have the xbox friends or time to commit to doing the raid. The crucible on the other hand, I can enjoy some rounds, take a break, do other things in life, and come back to it, but the raid I can't just do that cause it also depends on the other 5 players teaming up with me in that said raid.

This! This is exactly what this game needs - clear multiple paths to the same goals. If Destiny is supposed to be [i]my guardian's[/i] legend, then let me get there however [b][i]I[/i][/b] want to.

Right!? I was shocked when I found out there was only 1 gear set that would get you to lvl 30.
