Honestly I think each faction/section of the game should have their own 'epic' gear or exotic gear. Something that makes it unique...mainly in looks. There should be armor sets that you can only get in crucible. Only in raids. Only in PvE. I mean I guess that's kinda what they are doing....now that I think about it....but all the gear essentially looks the same. VERY minor aesthetic changes. Really wish there was a bit more variety in styling. The faction gear seems completely pointless...only differences there are colors.
