WHEN will these disconnects end?!?!

Seriously? Today I've tried to do the same mission 4 times, I got one caterpillar, two ferret, and I just got another new one the Canary, because YOUR game disconnected me from xboxlive. NOT MY CONNECTION! I've called xbox for support twice, both times they said let's try this this this this this this and this. 3 hours of wasted phone dialog! And you know what? NOTHING HAS CHANGED! NOT A SINGLE THING. I got to level 20 by the crucible because I don't have issues there, gee I wonder if that's a GIANT -blam!-ING CLUE? But do you guys honestly care? I doubt it, I haven't see ONE real article from you on this HUGE problem.

      • Instead of crappy events, I want a fix to the disconnections on BUNGIE SERVERS. I'm going to start warning people to not buy the game because they wont be able to do anything in pve or pvp. Even the story line gives me "bee", "zebra", and "canary" errors! We don't even understand what these errors are, and when I have looked them up there isn't a defined reason for the error. Unless Bungie is willing to step it up and fix this garbage, don't expect us to buy another game from your company. ~Sincerely your local GameStop employee~

        • Funny thing is you see nowhere articles about the disconnect issue..i mean nowhere...they talk about the patch or the loot cave..or as if the only problem where the engramms..but NOTHING about the disconnects..

            I have the same issue and have had since launch. I can only play certain areas of the game. Sadly this is a case of they have your money now and they are just going to fix the most obvious issues that might give them bad press and all the little guys are going to be left behind. Since the patches I have new error codes "on top" of the old ones and it's worst than ever. Too bad cause I really enjoy the game and have played it a lot in the areas that I can access and even though I have been disconnected dozens of times.

            Almost finished Daily Heroic Story and got disconnected! Tried rejoining the game & it started from beginning rather than the disconnect point! Ports were forwarded, static IP set, & confirmed that there were no port conflicts! It's not the gamers Bungie it's your servers. This PoS is from the makers of Halo? OMFG, what a disappointment. I almost bought & just might buy Shadow of Mordor & say good bye to Bungie. If constant server disconnects is the trend in XBox next gen, always on internet gaming then we gamers might need to switch to PS4, find a game that works, or find something else to do.

            • Yeah, these disconnects are getting to the point where I don't even feel like playing the game anymore, took 3 damn hours to do a simple patrol bounty because I got disconnected 9 times in less than 2 hours, and it wasn't a single error code either, it was about 4-5 different codes all telling me it's MY connection that's the problem, which I very much doubt because it's only this game that has ever caused these problems. All I wanted to do was jump on each character, do a few simple bounties and the daily, since that's really all there is to do until the reset anyways, but it has turned into an ordeal and I've completely lost interest in even playing this game right now. All I can say is that these disconnects need to be fixed soon or a lot of people will leave this game, I already know a few people that have traded the game in because of the connection issue and various other problems. Days like this make me very tempted to follow their example...

The problem has to do with the channels changing frequency too often. Anyways I went into my router settings (for me I typed 192.168.1.254 into my web browser) i then went to the Home Network section and then on that list was Channel. It was set to automatic and all I had to do was change it to 9. I am no longer getting disconnected at all.. I have att U verse, router model NVG510. So if your having the bee error or getting disconnected a lot please try to go into your router settings and change your channel down to 9 or lower from automatic.                   • I have 2 consoles on the same network playing Destiny at the same time. One will get all those errors and one will not. It is not always the same console. So how can a network help guide even start to say it is you network settings. The randomness between the two throws that off. But yep been getting some codes myself today and not really had many of them before.

                  • I believe people in certain regions have been disconnected with some type of error code. Mine was beetle. All i can say is be patient yo.

                          Since last night I've been getting canary, I tried what I usually do to get connected, it worked for 5 minutes. Now I'm getting zebra. After ten minutes trying things, I'm getting canary again :( Now I HAVE to spend time with my wife

                          • kingfisher and baboon are listed as mobile network errors... try again... disconnected 3 times today in missions or patrols - and no, its not a "mobile network" problem... I am hardline to my router which is hardlined to my internet connection... soooooooo fix it!

                            • Preaching to the choir buddy. Got to the final boss on the weekly strike solo, then bam! I get disconected from the game all progress lost. Absolute bull, and I don't think they're even trying to fix it.
