Won't work, as long as everything still goes through live/psn.

That's the thing, I don't mind competitiveness, don't get me wrong there, but when corporate/company competition starts getting in the way of the consumer's experience, I feel that the consumer should start drawing the line- we supply their paychecks for meeting our demands, I think it should be a doable thing for them to make system neutral servers for things like this.

Its absolutely doable. FFXI has cross platform play between. Ps2, Xbox 360 and PC. I really wish they would do this.

But they won't, and they likely don't care. It really does suck as most of my real friends stupidly bought xbones

And that's my problem with a world driven by money- needlessly limits far too many things... *sigh* The possibilities the world could accomplish if only those limits weren't there to shackle the people with creative minds whose only wish is to improve things...

They could do it for ps4 and ps3. I thought that this was the case come to find out i was wrong when my ps3 died and upgraded to a ps4 turn out i just isolated myself from my friends. Smh
