[b]*DISCLAIMER* [/b] [i]I have been playing since the alpha of the game and I rather enjoy playing Destiny. With that said, I do not care, nor do I desire to get into an argument about how you think Destiny is a horrible game. [/i] Is Destiny a bad game? Well let's look at both sides. [i][b]"DESTINY IS TERRIBLE"[/b][/i] Constantly, people (including myself at times), rage because their decoded engrams turn out to be useless and pointless. I know because my Cryptarch is level 17 and the only legendary items that I have received were for a class that I was not using. So trust me, it sucks. Looting system from mission and Crucible drops also seems to be a big problem. Have you been in a game and competed better than anyone in your Fireteam, but they got the better drops? Yeah it sucks! During the raid, I got 10 ascendant energy when I already had 30! I need shards, not energy! The final thing that seems to be the biggest problem is the story line. Day after day there is someone raging on the forums about how the story sucks and the game is just repetitive. I can second that I was very disappointed in the story. [i][b]DESTINY ROCKS! [/b][/i] Okay. So moving away from the negative, what are the positives that we can take from this game? Well there is a few. The multiplayer aspect of this game has brought me closer to old friends who play this game and I am always meeting amazing people. You never feel alone. Each new area of a map that you traverse into, there is new people all around! Not only does this game have a great multiplayer experience, but the fact that you can only hear the people in your Fireteam over mics has been great. I know a lot of you are going to disagree, but let's take a moment to think about this. Do you really want to listen to annoying people that don't shut up... ever? Yeah I didn't think so. Games like Call of Duty, when in most games, you can't even hear yourself think because there are those people who constantly blurt out, "OH! YOU SUCK MOTHERF*CKER!!!". Yeah, I'm glad I can only hear my Fireteam. The story. I know earlier in this post, I mentioned that I did agree that the story sucked, but I want to take the time and mention that I also think that there is so much opportunity. I am completely okay with purchasing expansion packs to continue my journey into the dark with fellow Guardians, and to be honest, if you can afford to buy the expansion packs then don't. There is no need to rage about it. You are okay with paying Xbox live and PS Plus, but you can't handle 37.99 for two expansion packs? That's no ones problem but yours. Overall, there is how it is. I kinda just want to rage a little bit because I am tired of the constant complaining. Bungie, you are doing great. Keep up the good work.
