I was also surprised by this. Yes I understand that maybe Bungie wants to keep something like this for another Iron banner event but why then are both the Hunter and Titan given the ability to buy the chest piece?

Just found out about this. I am so hacked off, nowhere did it mention that the rest of the armor isnt available. In fact all the articles allude to the fact that you get to Rank 3 and then can buy the kit. Either a bug or working as intended..to piss us off hah!
