Bad Juju Review -UPDATED- The True Glory of SoC

This was my original review post about the Bad Juju Exotic Pulse Rifle http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/69946637/0/0 As time went on, I continued to experiment with the Bad Juju, trying to decipher what exactly this weapon is supposed to be useful for. I knew that there had to be a good current use for the Juju, even if it's underpowered to high hell. And I found it. I took my Juju into the Vault of Glass, and discovered that, while it has incredibly low damage per bullet, it serves as a good crowd-control weapon when fighting mobs of weaker enemies, such as the Goblins and Hobgoblins in Vault of Glass. With this weapon, I was able to hold off half of the Templar arena for the first four phases before the boss fight, without any other assistance. The low power was compensated by the high RoF and SoC's slight damage buff, as well as the fact that the magazine resets with each kill, meaning that you are even getting FREE BULLETS. Once you get the first kill, you can just keep on rolling, without even having to worry about picking up ammo. The only downside is that, for some reason, Harpies and Supplicants do not appear to proc any kill-effects, such as SoC, Gunslinger's Trace, Chain of Woe, etc. This may be a bug in the system that needs to be addressed. I was able to push back every Goblin, Hobgoblin, and Fanatic without stopping for a single second. Reload time can be a very close and precious few seconds, but with Juju, there was no need to worry about stopping to reload, while enemies closed in around you. I began to feel like Rambo with this weapon in VoG, standing my ground and never stopping the hailstorm of bullets. I highly recommend trying this weapon, with SoC unlocked, in the Vault and see for yourself how effective it can be at pushing back the Vex. And if a Wild Minotaur or Oracle appears, catch it with a poke ball. Oh, wait, don't have a poke ball? *shrug* switch to your fusion rifle or shotgun and waste em. Overall, I have come to warm back up to this gun again. I seriously can't wait until this weapon receives its buff, to experiment further. Although my Thorn still sits on my hip as my most faithful companion, its big brother rifle version is always at the ready, waiting for when it's time to unleash a massacre. Questions, comments, and/or feedback? Feel free to post below. I will post another update once Bungie's buff update has come into effect. Thank you for reading. See you on the battlefield, Guardians!
