It is a waste of time. For example, in the Phogoth strike on the Moon, the area after your ghost decodes 3 runes, you come to a room where there is the Ogre and the Knight, you kill those, and after that you can literally just run past all those monsters and go straight to Phogoth.

You can actually just jump over the ogre as well, no damage taken.

True, he's just so easy to oil I usually just do it as I walk towards him :P
