That symbol is called an "Endless Knot," it's not a Svastik.
Secondly, even if it were, I'm sure a couple hundred million Buddhists throughout the world would be very upset at you saying their symbol is not a peaceful symbol.

It isn't a peace symbol anymore after WWII, the rest of the world views it as a symbol of evil. It's quite unfortunate.
