I dont need purples from strikes, im usually doing them for bounties, and do the 24 version to get an engram or 2 for my trouble, so yeah I skip everything skippable

^ this, im level 28 and have all legendary and exotic equipment I need. I dont need purples anymore. I need raid gear. I only thrash through level 24 strikes because im trying to complete a bounty or im just trying to get a little extra vanguard rep after completeing all bounties for the day.

You could just run Devil's Lair Strike on Lvl 8 over and over and be done in half the time and still get an engram or 2 for your trouble.

I often get 4 blues doing a 24 that takes the same amount of time and awards rep, so no im not doing the lvl 8

Sorry, but none of the Lvl 24 Strikes take the same amount of time as the Lvl 8 Devil's Lair with 3 Lvl 27-28 guys.
