Yeah.. I have seen those guys too. They are just annoying. Most of the time I meet those guys I still fight every enemy that's in my way. As far as I care, these rushers can rush if they want to.. but they can also die (only ingame, if course) because if it. They are as annoying as those "I'm after that 'Finish a strike without dying'"-guys. You know.. those people that hide every time it gets harder so they wont die. But I have to say I love it when people try doing this on moons strike. At the end boss there is one spot (next to the cliff) where people love to hide, because they can shoot everything from there.. but they are almost not to hit by enemy fire. I'm a warlock.. I push them always down the cliff if they hang out there. I don't like glitchers, bugusers, leechers and rushers. I'm pretty sure those guys don't like me either :D Edit: Problem is.. my english is pretty bad and I know my initial post is responsible for this.. uhm.. I'd like to call it a shitstorm. It's not easy to describe the situation I was facing there. There was this landing pad were sometimes a few dropships bring in some new troops. That's a place those guys could see. They also could see this ramp (?) that led to the main part of this room and just a few feet from that part. When I saw them a few of those enemies that came via drop ship walked up that ramp and than just stood there. A few of them moved back to their waypoints (as if you have walked out of their "area". At some point npc's stop following you and walk back to their positions) or engaged me. Ranged enemies only shot at that rock between themselfs and my two party members while one of them just shot back without getting hit. Everything else in that room was attacking just me.. enemies that walked up the other ramp as well. I'm not a prick.. A lot of times I meet people on earths strike who hide - for exsample - as far away from that walking tank as they can while firing a few rounds here and there. I'm okay with that. Those guys may often be not very usefull, but at least they draw some attention in their direction.. or do some damage. At least those guys try to contribute something to the team instead of.. sacrificing it for their own goals. But that one case I tried to explain was, that two guys glitched in an area they were not supposed to be (how the AI acted proofes that in my opinion) and as a result I was reduced to cannon fodder. All those wizzards and knights in that room were on me.. thank's to those guys funny glitch back than. I also was worried about getting banned myself. Those guys were part of my strike team, using glitches and I was on their spot as well while trying to figure out what thos two guys were up to. After I saw it I pushed them (so they respawn back ON the map) and jumped back in the fight as well. After this we all finished that strike as it's supposed to and everything was fine.

I go 3 legendary engrams from racing through my last 10 strikes, so ill continue to do so, have fun.

Just made a poll over this, plz search speedrun and add your input - trying to get consensus on which method is preferred.

Only the mobs in the darkness areas/ transition areas count as part of the strike, anything in open public areas such as the mission start points don't count as part of the strike. Sitting there killing endlessly respawning level 8s is the waste of time, you might as well be doing patrol. If you're doing a lvl 24 strike, only the lvl 24 enemies you are fighting count. If you kill a lvl 8 and get a blue, good for you, but it will be a level 8 blue drop not a 24.

My main is a 29, If im in a strike its for a reason. You better believe I will get on my sparrow and skip the level 16 trash and the start. I never skip anything at level, but I will jet to the respwan restricted zone and start laying down the pain while waiting on my silly teams to finish poking the level 16's

So you start by saying that these people should stop rushing the strikes because they have a worse chance to get good gear, but then suggest they do a level 8 strike that doesn't even have a chance to give you something remotely useful? I'll just assume you see that people are going to do what they want now, and there will never be a time where your opinion will make people change the way they play.

I skip everything that's feasibly possible to skip. Unless it's in a respawn restricted area, it's free game to skip if you can/want. Killing some level 8 dregs or goblins is pointless if my goal is to kill a boss. If I want to kill some level 8 guys, I'll do a patrol.

How about people learn to play as a team? If you see rushers, follow them. The quicker you are done the quicker you leave these rushers do their thing. If you see cleaners, clean with them, if you help them to clean instead of rushing alone in front the quicker stuff will die so you don't wait for them. Stop being a self centered player, play WITH your teammates not against them. P.S. If you want a strike to go a certain way. Be the first in front, ppl will usually follow you if they see you clean/rush.

I typically finish a lvl 24 strike in about 13 minutes, yes I run through it as fast as possible. I almost always get two blue engrams each time at the end. So let's just say I get about 6 blues every 30 mins and the occasional purple. To have someone fight all the mobs (even just the high-lvl ones) is dumb. And besides most strikes have an area where you have to stay and fight anyway so there's that if you're not down to run through with me. All in all, I see it more effective to run through the strikes when trying to gain anything other than exp.

He's not incorrect, you don't get legendary gauruntees from racing through strikes and just getting to the boss. Let alone the engram you get is possibly trash anyway. Kill everything make your drop better. I've gotten better loot this way. Since the update. Since the update my crypt arch has not givin me one single legendary engram from the legendary package you get for level up. My crypt arch level is 47. Almost 50 I wonder what happens there.

Thank you for saying this... I had a erotic bounty where I had to do 25 strikes to make it to level 3, I finished the last 11 today and was highly annoyed with randoms flying through areas to get to the boss, needless to say I lagged behind cleaning up what they missed.
