While this might be a troll topic, their logic is still faulty: arc blade hunter moves faster + with lunge, you cant just jump back and shoot them. Either you have the distance to kill them or you don't. Nearly impossible to make room if they are already close. Unless the arc blade hunter is near the end of a super, they will kill you when you land or strike you as you jump.
I have hit arc blade hunters directly with Gjallarhorn rockets before - they survive with about 1/3 life left.

Edited by Draconus2006: 10/5/2014 4:44:09 PMdunno if there is a damage type arc blade hunters are weak to, but its certainly not void damage (i have never killed a non-weakened arc blade hunter using a shotgun, even at point blank range). granted, i have killed arc blade hunters who were to far away from me many a time. are they weaker to arc damage? they seem to die easily to sniper rifles (my sniper is arc, shotgun is void/fire, heavy is fire)

It's possible and might make sense considering the color matching vs shields in pve, but I haven't heard anything about it before
-
That's a good question. I used to think that Solar worked well on red health bars, Arc on shields, Void on yellow, but that seems to be false. As far as I can tell, the elemental attacks are only for stripping shields.
-
yep wizrds, centurions and shanks solar cap and harpies arc psions, and minatours void
-
How do you know that?
-
I've put at least 150 hours into the game and on epic modifiers harpies, shanks, and psions get shield so far queens's wrath (over) + nightfall
-
you tell the shield weakness by the color around the shield solar=red arc=blue void=purple
-
Right, right. When I asked that question however long ago that was, I hadn't yet realized that Wizards always have red shields, Captains have blue, Minotaurs have Void, etc. I thought that the shield colors could be random then. I know better now. Thanks though.
