The Striker is already lackluster. Juggernaught, Shoulder Charge and Unstoppable all make the Striker into a one trick pony and are all in the same skill column. Either you get the ability to net a few free panic kills, the equalivent of running at the target and shooting them with a shotgun but with a bit longer range and auto aim, or a crappy shield that covers part of your body for 5 seconds and only absorbs a few bullets. No matter which you choose, it's basically run at targets and get a few cheese kills. Outside of that, its normal melee ability sucks compared to any other. All classes other than Defender have a longer ranged melee and even Defender's gets much better effects. The grenades are also far more lackluster than you'd think on the recieving end. Pulse does abysmal damage with a small range and takes forever to kill anything. Gunslinger's Swarm is far, far better. Flashbang has a decent effect but an abysmal range as well as a delayed explosion. I've died 1000 times. I've only been Flashbanged maybe three times. Lightning is kind of like a Tripmine without the OHKO, instead having 3 50% HP bursts of damage. It's the only one I felt was actually consistently useful, but by no means is it OP.
It's not that the Striker is OP. It's just very... frustrating to face. Its overall abilities aren't even very good, but every Striker packs one way to cheese kill other players. I stopped using Striker a while ago. There's certain situations where it feels overwhelmingly powerful but most of time its not a very flexible or well rounded class.
