I didn't realize how OP my Titan was until I started to carve up level 20 plus players while only being level 12 with gear that wasn't as great as thiers. Titan master race ftw xD

Do that in the Iron Banner, and we can talk. Gear doesn't matter nearly that much in the crucible.

Gear #s (damage, defense) dont really play an effect, they are normalized. Gear perks do. (example..faster reload on armor pieces, bonus effects on guns)

Thanks for the info man, here's me thinking I was at a major disadvantage being matched up with much better opponents, and wondering why I able to kill them :/

Don't get me wrong, higher level = better gun perks (exotics for example) and more subclass level xp (so more subclass abilities unlocked). So there is still an advantage. Just not a huge gear one.
