Ultimate Titan Weapon/Ability Combos for PvP

I've been pondering many strategies for PvP with my Titan, and I've been taking mental notes of the times I'm able to score the coveted 4 K/D+ ratings in PvP. I'll share my mental notes with you guys to help you form your own strategies. Titan Striker Summary: This class is all about entering and exiting quickly. In PvP, the best skill loadout is here, and it should be used with a scout rifle and fusion rifle: http://www.destinydb.com/calculator/talents#1.MoDnb4k8bW708dV708dR708dr708da708b3708dG708bZ7 You should choose shockwave over aftermath if you have the Helm of Inmost Light to give you the extra distance you need when you come across a grouped team (which usually runs in a line formation). Also the discharge talent point is a rarely used gem because it creates a radial explosion about 1/2 times your punch is charged that has a knock-back effect and extra damage. This lets you punch once and take everyone's health down in an area while confusing the guy you punched (knock-back only occurs otherwise when people die). With transfusion+shoulder charge, you can rush into battle, shoulder charge an enemy and instantly gain health recovery (transfusion does trigger off of shoulder charge). This combo prevents you from needing a shotgun. Therefore, it's best to use a scout rifle+fusion rifle combo with this setup/class. You have long range mobility with the scout rifle, close encounter insta-kill with the fusion rifle, and melee explosiveness/health regeneration with shoulder charge and discharge. Here's an example of your next battle: you stand in the distance owning enemies with your scout rifle. As they approach, you crouch in hiding waiting for the moment to rush out to punch fest. When they're withing sprinting distance, you sprint out, shoulder charge to 1-hit kill the first enemy, punch twice to dispatch the second enemy and deplete his teammate's health (with discharge), and jump as high as possible while charging your fusion rifle to end the last enemy (height always confuses an enemy up close but makes you an easy target for far away enemies - be careful!). I tried this loadout with an auto rifle/shotgun combo, and I found in one close encounter circular map, I had so many explosive up close options (1. shouder charge, 2. discharge, 3. automatic shotgun, 4. grenade, 5. rain blows), I could easily kill the whole other team without using all of my abilities. However, for most encounters, this setup is inbalanced and will get you killed, which will make you frustrated when you get 4+K/D on one map and 0.5 K/D on another map. Titan Defender Summary: This class is about entrenchment and rapid close encounters, and is by far the best class to use for Salvage due to the Armor of Light skill (which makes you invincible inside your bubble and makes the bubble last the entire duration of the salvage). For some reason, players think the bubble is a mosquito trap and are drawn to its light by the bubble's beauty only to die. Here's the loadout you should use with an auto rifle and shotgun: http://www.destinydb.com/calculator/talents#1.MMLcZHZ8yJ708yU708yy708yn708yD708yv708y3708yx7 The secret to this strategy is to get close to the enemy, shotgun slide punch to trigger your unbreakable and relentless force barrier, sprint around auto rifling while your force barrier is active, and then pop-up your bubble in the most central/visible place possible to lure as many enemies into it or near it as possible. If someone approaches your bubble, dance or sit to make them come inside. Or stare at them as they walk past, and take advantage of their distraction with your bubble to let your friends flank the enemy. Then punch away to recharge your force barrier and continue your spree. It's really easy. Have fun! Feel free to provide feedback or other ultimate strategies on different classes in the comments.

  • i am genuinely happy for your that you are able to use words as strategy and feel the actually differences between maps, for me crucible is a bunch of idiots running at point blank and see who's armor is better topped with aiming impaired shotgun users that can resist 234 shots in the head and kill me with one bad aimed shot. I wish crucible wasn't crucial for getting ascendant sharts because for me it is the worst PvP of all times because it is no designed for PvP veterans who are playing these kind of games since 25 years.
