A Solution to STORY + So Much Rage.. All you had to do was put Grimoire in the game

Grimoire should be connected to In-Game Experience

Should stay the way it is, separate & web-based

I have another solid solution in mind

Put the grimoire in-game... and so much of the frustration, confusion and anger would have been avoided. Or can be still? I wish I knew the Grimoire had so much information in it earlier.. to leave the game or pull it up on a tablet is a disjointed experience and it did not make sense to me at first.. going elsewhere to get the story about the game I am playing.. alright.. But for me, I will put in the time reading and researching on another device, because I care to know about the efforts put into the story and world of Destiny. Sadly, many will never look at any Grimoire, only believing the shell of a story in-game is what Bungie has put forth. SOLUTION: To have a link between the in-game and the grimoire, a REAL link and not just a place I can go sign in separately to read the cards.. this could be a dashboard within the game, a type of menu, a vendor who can provide access to grimoire, even a link that takes you to the web-based information, but does it from within the game!!! Anything which will present to us the rewards of our time spent unearthing information, all while staying immersed in the world of Destiny. No substantial in-game connection to the Grimoire lore is a gigantic mistake.. and going forward it will continue to be a mistake for each new player. If there is any way to resolve this, I do not know, I can only hope you have a way or solution in the works. If not, as for me, I will continue to explore Grimoire outside of the game. I just hope others do not lose hope entirely.. If only they knew..

 • So many games have put this type of information and story/lore into the game in some way. Halo CE 10yr had the terminals to add to the story. Assassin's Creed had a lot of cool stuff in the Animus to deliver key parts of the backstory and information that could add to the world. Borderlands has us pick up recordings so we can hear parts of the story from minor characters. Mass Effect, Skyrim, Fallout 3 and others tell the story through other devices, but they are in game as well. How cool would it have been to pick up a dead ghost and at the very least listen to what our ghost recovers from it's memory? I'm sure he could throw out a holographic projection of the recovered data as well. So why didn't Bungie do this? I've seen people defend the system as it is now, but I just don't understand it. A video game is an interactive audio/visual form of media. It is a different experience than TV and movies. We are actually allowed to enter a new immersive, interactive world. To outsource the best part of your story to something outside of the game just doesn't make sense.
